Ming military campaign against Naghachu : ウィキペディア英語版
Ming military campaign against Naghachu

The Ming military campaign against Naghachu〔Korean Studies, 1982, 21〕 of 1387 was an offensive military expedition campaign of Ming China's army led by General Feng Sheng against the Uriyangkhad horde of the Mongol chieftain Naghachu in Manchuria (then under control of Northern Yuan dynasty). Later that year, the military campaign concluded with the surrender of Naghachu and Ming conquest of Manchuria.
==Background==
During the 1380s, Naghachu, the Mongol commander and an official of the former Yuan dynasty〔Langlois 1998, 130.〕 had organized the many Mongol tribes of Manchuria into the Uriyangkhad horde.〔 They frequently clashed with the Chinese along the northeastern frontier regions of Ming China.〔Tsai 2001, 46–47.〕〔
